Drive Letters Where They Belong
Drive Letters First is a simple Windows utility for users who prefer to see drive letters listed before labels in File Explorer, following the classic MS-DOS convention.
By default, modern Windows displays drive labels first (e.g., Local Disk (C:)). This tool reorders the display to show the letter first (e.g., (C:) Local Disk), which many long-time Windows users find more intuitive.
How It Works
- Run the tool once to toggle the display order
- Run it again to revert to the default
- No installation required
